Kharcheri is one of the manifestations of the Bodhisatwa Avalokiteswara; he is also associated with the six syllable mantra OM MANI PADME HUM. The translation of this mantra means, the jewel of consciousness is in the hearts of lotus. This mantra allows one to develop enlightenment while being in the present and working with other beings.
This fine carved stone statue of Kharcheri is entirely made by skillful hand of Nepalese craftsmen with the techniques and tools that are in use from hundreds of years by generations. Since the product is handmade, there can be slight variation in given measurement.
