The wheel of Dharma is the physical form of Prayer wheel and the mantra ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’ is written on the outside of the wheel. It is said that, any person that are illiterate or unable to read the Mantra, they should then use the prayer wheel and the effect is the same as reading the Mantra.
