Nataraj, the dancing form of Lord Shiva, is a symbolic synthesis of the most important aspects of Hinduism, and the summary of the central tenets of this Vedic religion. The term 'Nataraj' means 'King of Dancers'. The statues of Nataraj are framed by a oval shape representing cosmic energy. Nataraj stands upon a demon, which symbolizes triumph over spiritual ignorance. This 14 cm tall small statue of Dancing Shiva is made of mixed materials with resin and some other materials that looks like made of fine bone art-work.
