''One who saves'' represents her name, White Tara and it is believed that her motherly love and desire saves people from any kind of suffering. She has seven eyes - a third eye located in the usual place on the forehead, and others on the soles of her feet and hands. These extra eyes are said to help her look upon all beings in all realms of existence with the same clear sight and endless compassion.
